You could spend hours and hours trying to find all the information on dealing with stress and anxiety and I have to say contained within the manual is perhaps some of the best information on anxiety disorders I’ve ever found in one place, including information about:

- post-traumatic stress disorder
- generalised anxiety disorder (GAD) and much more.
I really do believe that once you are able to place your experiences into context, it goes a very long way towards helping you understand why and how you respond to those things around you — helping to alleviate some of the anxiety related to having the anxiety itself! The Linden method in more detail
Contained within your download are some relaxation and visualisation CDs which are very effective in helping you enter into an extremely relaxed state. You even receive a DVD which includes Qi Kung exercises, a great stress reliever – remember, the focus of the Linden method is to get both your mind and body to relax.
In another very interesting approach that I’d never come across before is the “panic attack eliminator” technique. Now suffice to say, this approach might actually shock you and go against every assumption you might have made about how to deal with a panic attack as it’s actually occurring! Take every sensible idea you’ve ever hand about how to deal with a panic attack and throw them out the window. You might feel it’s quite a bizarre concept, but after you understand why, it makes complete sense. Using this technique helps you gain a sense of control over an extremely frightening experience.
Now I know there are many methods and programs out there claiming to help you overcome anxiety but the one thing they lack is continuous support. The typical package is a one-time download and the rest is up to you. Sink or swim, it’s up to you and only you.

What did I like about the Linden Method?

So I know, that if you give this your attention, it will help you begin to experience a sense of calmness and recapture that sense of control in your life.

What didn’t I like about the Linden method?
Well — as with anything you’re going to find on the Internet, there is a danger of selling it as the be all and end all. The magic pill that will end all problems instantly. And to this end, I’d hesitate to say this is the ultimate cure, the miracle download.
You see, nobody can 100% guarantee success, because each person is different. I suppose if I were to arrive at Charles’s website for the first time I would come away feeling as if I’d experienced a rather hard sell.
Despite this, if you decide to purchase this method, you must realise that it does require effort on your part because nobody else can change your anxiety for you. It’s up to you to implement what you learn in this program into your daily activities, and because of this, it does require conscious effort to keep at it and actively apply these principles as you learn them.
You need to be motivated and this is where some of you might struggle. But at the same time, we can also realise that it’s no use assuming all you have to do is lie back and wait for the magic to happen. Having said that, I know no other greater motivator than having a panic attack!
My Review’s Conclusion
So what do I think about the Linden Method overall?
Well, as with anything you can’t expect change to happen without a little bit of elbow grease, but it’s not a very difficult process to follow and just as it is with anything else in life, the more you practice, the easier it becomes until you hardly have to make any effort at all.
I have every confidence you’ll be able to incorporate all the tips and techniques effectively and remember if you ever have any questions or need that extra bit of advice, you have 24-hour e-mail and telephone support from real live human beings to guide you through those moments of doubt.
Overall I think what you receive with your download will provide you some very interesting information into anxiety and more importantly provide you with some very powerful techniques you can use to reset the threshold of the amygdala (the fear centre), as well as help you deal with panic attacks as they are actually occurring.
I would advise that you make full use of the support staff. You just can’t beat it! It’s stressful being stressed! So pick up the phone or e-mail them and before you know it, you’ll begin to notice those changes in the way you’re thinking, feeling and behaving, and starting to feel more and more calm and relaxed, able to deal with life’s situations from a more emotionally stable vantage point.
